Gift Guide For The Coffee Addict In Your Life

Have a coffee lover in your life? Wondering what to get them? Here are some hints!

Gimme, gimme, gimme the coffee! There have been real times at work when someone went and got me a coffee because they could tell that I hadn’t had my coffee yet in the morning. I’m going to take that as they know me, and not in a bad way.

Basically what I’m saying is I love coffee! And I guess it’s lesser loved by me cousin, tea. If you have a coffee lover in your life, below are some of my favorites to use!! Also at the time this was posted almost all of the below were 50% off!! How great is that!

This post does have affiliate links, and what that means is that if you purchase any of the items below I would receive a small amount at no cost to you! This amount helps me keep this blog running! As does coffee!

We’re starting right where we should ladies and gentlemen, with Gilmore Girls! If you have clicked on even a single section of this little corner of the internet, you will have noticed how many references are made to Gilmore Girls. I personally own the mug, and I love it! Except for the hand washing part, that I could do without!

Oi, with the poodles already!

Also, I really do drink coffee like a Gilmore and proud of it! I’ve been to Stars Hollow and I really wish I had gone to Chilton. These are two of my designs from my shop! If you would like to see more Gilmore Girls designs CLICK HERE!

A French Press! Because, I mean how beautiful is that. I’m sure it’s probably everyones favorite part of the process, but when you push down the filter! Ohh and breaking the “coffee crust”. Now I just want coffee, that’s what this entire thing is going to end up, me wanting coffee.

THE WORLD ATLAS OF COFFEE has a step by step process of coffee. Not just, here’s how you brew a good cup of coffee, but even taking a step back, for the beans overall. I have a dream of wanting to go to a coffee farm one day, and this sparks that want even more!

For a more pretty/standard coffee maker, THE POD FREE NINJA ! Everyone loves a good coffee bar. Don’t you just love waking up to a good cup of coffee in the morning!! Also building off of that is the below!

I have this coffee grinder! I love it. This was something that really did change the way I make coffee. It was accidentally started because “sleepy Joy” as I call her, was grocery shopping and bought whole bean instead of ground coffee and I had to figure out what to do with it. I’m very glad she did that, because a freshly ground cup of coffee is so much better!!! This Mr. Coffee grinder only takes about 10 seconds to grind the coffee beans and you have freshly ground coffee!! Worth it!

The desk mug!! Such a critical decision You’ve made a beautiful cup of coffee and you don’t want it to get cold before you finish it. This is a great mug! I’ve gotten really busy and haven’t had the chance to finish my coffee and then I return and it’s still hot! What more can you ask for!? Love This YETI 14oz rambler

Don’t take my coffee card away, but this is the coffee maker that I don’t have, but really want. However, it’s also glass and I know myself so I’m torn!! Do you own a Chemex? I watch Peter McKinnon make coffee in this all the time, it looks so good! Also, if you don’t know who Peter McKinnon is, where have you been? Go watch!! We’ll after this go watch!

My Recent Etsy Favorites

Who doesn't love small businesses! Here are a few of my recent favorites on Etsy!

I'm a huge fan of any sort of small business. It's so inspiring to see people trying to do what they love and make it into a sustainable way of living! It's been a few months process of working back in forth and applying and getting rejected, but I finally have a new place I'm moving into in only a few days! I'm so excited to have a new place that I can use to be "that home." You know the one, the one where everyone is welcome, the one that if someone needs to escape for a day they can join for pizza and a movie! Or if they need, they can crash at while they're visiting.

In that spirit of the unique and small business, I've been "Pinteresting" and "Etsying" everything! Here are a few of my favorites I've found on Etsy. go check them out!

Kitchen:

I am probably going to paint either my cabinets or my backsplash white! I also really want an long rug to keep in the kitchen. The below from TURQUALITYRUGS is so beautiful! She's also offering

October Favorites

October Favorites - AVintageJoy

This is not a drill, it's that time again to put away the summer items and pull out the cozy sweaters, fall decorations, warm beanies, and prepare for the holidays. This is my absolute favorite time of the year, second only to the wonderful cozy nights of December. I love decorating and having my home feel cozy, I Iove the fall colors and I love spending this time of year with those that I cherish.

However, before you pull all of the plaid items in your closet, let's take a moment to reflect on October. Also, I may have already pulled out all of my fall and winter clothes, I can't help it.

Inspiration. The Chip Ingram App. It has a bunch of small 30 minutes series' about so many different aspects of life. I've been listening to the "The Real God" series and it's so good! It's about obtaining the correct view of God. The goodness of God was a brutal one to hear.

Blog Post. I'm so excited to share my favorite day of the year so far with you!! It's coming later this week! But here's a hint in my favorite post from this month!

(Want to know what my favorite day of the year has been? Check it out here)

Purchase. Ever feel like you spend all of this time on your makeup and then it comes off two hours later? Ya, me too! Last week a friend of mine introduced me to the Urban Decay All Night Spray and I love it! It truly does allow your makeup to last all day. I tend to work 10+ hour days so this for me is a lifesaver. At the end of the day I still look like I have makeup on! Win!

Entertainment. On the youtube train, I've been watching a ton of tutorials and the ones I keep watching over and over are the ones by Tanya Burr. This is her fall makeup tutorial from last year. Love the dark lip! It also helps that she lives in England, one of my ultimo favorite places to visit.

Focused on. Having the right focus, and seeking wisdom in my life in all areas. Sounds a little introspective, but it's important in this season. We spend so much of our energy on things that we can not control or on outcomes that we don't know will happen or not. I'm trying to have an outward mindset and only focus on things that I have a part in, letting those I don't fall aside. Don't stress about what you can't control!

July Favorites

July Favorites - AVintageJoy

Last July I was in NYC, so I'm definitely ready to be back Florida and relax for a few days. If I don't come back tan, I'm doing something wrong! I'm so ready for a Disney day and a day at the beach. Last week I missed the water so much that I found a coffee shop near a lake just so that I could see water, I know right! Here are some of my favorites from this past month.

1// Inspiration. Linda Rodin is in her 60s and has lived life without care. I love that she has lived in Italy, started her own company by accident, and worn what she wants to and what makes her feel good vs. what's fashionable at the time. If you haven't seen an interview with her you should google it!

2// Post. One of my friends sent me this post by Cece from Plussizeprincess and it's so real. I've read a lot of posts about how people run their own businesses and I really resinated with this post. I love that she is so real and says don't quit your job until you're stable enough to. Preach! Because yes it's exciting, but you also need to pay rent and eat.

3// Purchase. There are so many moment in the dressing room that you're trying to decided if you would really wear "this" in real life. I had one of those moments this month, I was nervous but decided to get the blue and white striped romper and try it out. I love it! I was nervous the first time I wore it and then I remembered that everyone else is thinking about how they look and not paying attention to me. I feel good in the romper and it's super comfy!

4// Entertainment. I'm always watching youtube videos!! I just find them so motivating. One channel this month that I've been binging is Gary Vaynerchuk. When I first started watching his videos it took me a while to get use to the way he talks, honestly his vocal inflections. He is a loud talker, but once I got use to it, I love it! He's so passionate about what he does. He talks a lot about how it takes time to get to where you want to be and how those who succeed keep going!

5// Focused on. Getting ready for vacation!! I'm so excited! I need a break from my 10+ hour days at work. I know I'm basically going home, but it's still going to be a vacation.
